Third parties research
A physical and conceptual space for the planning and implementation of scientific research on audiovisual media commissioned by companies and institutions operating in the media market, production, distribution and cultural valorisation of audiovisual media.
Methodological training
A methodological training space open to cooperation between humanistic and social disciplines (economics, statistics, psychology, sociology, information technology, semiotics, aesthetics, philosophy, etc.) through seminars and meetings with scholars and professionals.
Theoretical reflection
A space for interdisciplinary theoretical reflection on the changes in the conceptual horizon of the study of the visual media experience.
Research support
A space that offers graduate and doctoral students, postdocs, and researchers the opportunity to use equipment, skills and tutoring for the implementation of the experimental phase of scientific research projects.
Innovative teaching
A space for developing innovative educational projects based on the use of immersive technologies and the application of advanced methodologies for student involvement in training courses on communication and visual culture.
Relationship with the territory
A space for collaboration with professionals, artists and cultural operators in the audiovisual sector for the creation of activities and projects that promote meetings between universities, businesses, institutions and the territory.
EQUIPMENT
The laboratory is equipped with advanced tools for the use and study of traditional and immersive media experiences, such as cinema, photography, television, video games, virtual and augmented reality.
